Teaching Assistant (Level 2) – Part Time – September 2026 Start – Bolton
Are you an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a welcoming and high–achieving secondary school?
We are recruiting on behalf of a well–respected girls' school for a caring, proactive and confident Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026 until July 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support a student with dyslexia, while also providing wider classroom support when required. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping the student achieve their full potential while contributing to the wider learning environment.
The role:
September 2026 – July 202722 hours per week (3.5 days) 92.56 per dayBolton Based Secondary SchoolSupporting a student with dyslexiaProviding general classroom support when one–to–one support is not requiredWorking alongside experienced teaching staff in a positive and supportive schoolThe ideal candidate will have:
A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)Previous experience supporting students with dyslexiaExcellent spoken and written English and strong communication skillsA patient, encouraging and adaptable approachExperience working within a secondary school environment is desirableThis is a calm, nurturing environment with engaged students and a supportive staff team, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping young people thrive academically and personally.
