Description

Senior Leader - Secondary School | Sidcup | Part-Time

We are seeking an experienced and confident Senior Leader to join a secondary school in Sidcup on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an established school leader who can provide strong operational support, maintain high standards of behaviour and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintaining a visible and proactive leadership presence throughout the school

Providing day-to-day operational support to staff and senior leaders

Supporting behaviour management and improving attendance across the school

Being present in behaviour areas and stepping in to manage challenging situations when required

Providing cover and responding flexibly to the changing needs of the school

Undertaking wider leadership responsibilities and supporting staff as needed

Working closely with the Principal to implement and drive school improvement priorities

Promoting high expectations, consistency and positive behaviour across the school

Essential Requirements:

The successful candidate must have extensive experience working within a mainstream secondary school and have previously held a senior leadership position as an Assistant Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher or Headteacher.

You must be confident, resilient and highly experienced in managing behaviour, with the ability to lead by example, make effective decisions and maintain a calm, visible presence across the school. Experience working within a boys' school environment, with a strong understanding of behaviour management and the challenges this can present, is essential. xjnqpsq

We are looking for a hands-on leader who can build positive relationships with staff and students, support the Principal and make an immediate impact on the daily running of the school.

Location: Sidcup
