Are you a passionate and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference? A warm and inclusive primary school in Aston is seeking a dedicated TA to support pupils with higher needs in a full–time role starting in September.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children who have a range of additional needs, including nonverbal communication and complex learning profiles. You'll be an essential part of a nurturing team, helping pupils engage, communicate and thrive in a classroom environment.

Your Role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with high–level SEND needsSupport children with nonverbal communication using visual aids and structured routinesCollaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learningEncourage social development and build pupil confidenceAdapt resources to meet individual needsWe're looking for someone with:

A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalentExperience supporting children with SEN, particularly autism and communication needsA calm, patient and proactive approachAbility to follow EHCP targets and support strategiesA calm, resilient, and patient approachA genuine passion for supporting children with additional needsWhy Work with Long Term Futures?
