About the role

TimePlan Education are currently recruiting for a strong and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work full–time in a supportive mainstream primary school in Wallington.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated TA who has a strong understanding of supporting pupils with additional needs and is passionate about helping children thrive within a mainstream classroom setting.

Key responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SENDAssist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activitiesSupport children's academic, social, and emotional developmentImplement strategies to support individual learning needsMaintain a positive and inclusive classroom environmentSupport effective behaviour management strategiesRequirements

Previous experience working with children with SEND in a school settingStrong understanding of SEND and inclusive practiceConfident supporting children with varying additional needsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsPatient, proactive, and adaptable approachDesirable

Childcare Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (not essential)What we offer
