Monarch Education are seeking a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Aston, Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEND practitioner or a talented teacher with a strong interest in special educational needs and disabilities to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our pupils.

The Role

As a SEND Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils with SEND.

Support children with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), ADHD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, the SENDCo, parents and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where needed.

Develop effective support plans and contribute to EHCP reviews and annual meetings.

Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that promotes confidence, independence and achievement.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Has experience teaching pupils with SEND in a primary setting.

Demonstrates excellent classroom management and behaviour support skills.

Has a sound understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and inclusive teaching strategies.

Is patient, nurturing and committed to child-centred learning.

Can build strong relationships with pupils, families, colleagues and external professionals.

Has high expectations for all learners and a commitment to raising achievement.
