Pay: Competitive Daily Rate (Dependent on Experience)

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

We are currently recruiting SEND Support Assistants / SEN Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming and supportive primary and secondary schools across the BD7 Bradford area. This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

Schools are looking for patient, proactive, and caring support staff who can work closely with pupils who may have autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, learning difficulties, or social and emotional needs (SEMH).

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, graduates considering a career in education, or support workers looking to transition into schools.

Your Role as a SEND Support Assistant

Provide 1:1 support or small group support for pupils with SEN / SEND needs

Support children with autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties

Help pupils stay engaged and focused during lessons

Work closely xjnqpsq with class teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff

Support pupils’ academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and behaviour managementWhat Schools Are Looking For

Experience supporting children with SEND / SEN (school or care setting preferred)

Patient, caring, and resilient personality

Strong communication and behaviour support skills

Ability to build positive relationships with pupils

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
