Location: Felixstowe, Suffolk
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full Time

Tradewind Recruitment, proudly recognised as one of the UK's Sunday Times Top 100 Best Places to Work, is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Felixstowe from September 2026.
This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs and social, emotional and mental health needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing one–to–one and small group support.
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO.
Encouraging pupil independence and confidence.
Supporting communication, emotional regulation and engagement.
Helping to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND (preferred).
Be patient, compassionate and resilient.
Have excellent communication skills.
Be committed to helping every child succeed.
Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.
