Join Our Team as an SEN Teaching Assistant in Hinckley!

Start Date: January 2025

Salary: 95 – 105 per day

Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in Hinckley, starting in January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with diverse learning needs.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting children with a range of special educational needs. You'll assist in creating an inclusive, supportive environment where all children can thrive. Your role will involve:

Working closely with primary–aged children with a variety of additional needs, including learning, physical, and emotional support

Helping teachers deliver tailored, engaging lessons and activities

Supporting students with individual learning plans to help them achieve their potential

Promoting inclusion and boosting the confidence of every child in the classroom

Providing personal care support as needed, ensuring students feel safe and respected

What We're Looking For:

A caring and patient individual with a passion for working with children

Experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential (training will be provided)

A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to the individual needs of each student

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff

An understanding of special educational needs and a desire to make a positive impact
