SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Coalville

Start Date: January 2025

Salary: 95 – 105 per day

Location: Coalville, Leicestershire

We are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in Coalville from January 2025. What You'll Be Doing:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will be all about providing tailored support to primary school children with a range of special educational needs. You will work closely with teachers and other staff members to ensure that every child has the tools they need to succeed. Key responsibilities include:

Providing one–on–one and small group support for children with various learning, physical, or emotional needs

Assisting with lesson delivery and helping students access the curriculum in a way that suits their needs

Encouraging positive behaviour and helping children develop their social and emotional skills

Offering personal care and mobility support as needed

Monitoring student progress and feeding back to teachers and parents on achievements and challenges

What We're Looking For:

A positive, caring individual who is passionate about working with children

Experience in an educational or SEN setting is preferred but not essential (full training will be provided)

A flexible and patient approach to supporting children with a wide range of needs

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

A genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young learners
