Description

Are you passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Barnet. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience or a strong interest in supporting students with Autism at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

In this role, you will work 1:1 with a student, providing tailored support to help them thrive both academically and socially. The school takes pride in fostering an inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Why This Role Is Perfect for You

• Positive Working Culture: You’ll be part of a supportive team who value collaboration, professional growth, and wellbeing.

• Career Development: Gain valuable SEN experience that will enhance your skills and open doors to further roles in education or specialist support.

• Impactful Work: Help a student with Autism navigate the school environment, build confidence, and achieve academic success.

• Convenient Hours: Enjoy term-time-only working hours, perfect for achieving a healthy work-life balance.

About You

• Experience supporting students with Autism, or a strong willingness to learn.

• Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals.

If you’re looking for a rewarding role where you can see the direct impact of your work every day, this is your chance to join a school that truly values its staff and students.
