We are working with a supportive and welcoming SEN school in Fakenham, Norfolk, seeking committed teachers to join their team and help students achieve their full potential.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work with pupils who require additional support with their learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing. You will play a key role in creating an engaging, nurturing, and inclusive environment that enables every student to thrive, regardless of their individual challenges.

Working as part of a skilled and supportive staff team, you will deliver tailored lessons, adapt learning materials to meet individual needs, and contribute to positive outcomes for pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet individual learning needs.

Support pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and learning difficulties.

Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.

Manage behaviour effectively using positive behaviour support strategies.

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals.

Monitor student progress and contribute to individual learning plans and reviews.

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs is desirable.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners.

Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to the location of the school and the nature of the role.
