SEN Teacher Required in Nottingham

Monarch Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to work within specialist schools and alternative provisions across Nottingham.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a qualified teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will have the chance to make a genuine difference by helping children and young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally.

Whether you are an experienced SEN Teacher or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into SEND education, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needsSupport pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and other SEND requirementsCreate a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environmentMonitor and assess pupil progressWork collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, parents and external professionalsPromote positive behaviour, wellbeing and engagement

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualificationExperience supporting children with SEND is desirableStrong classroom management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA genuine passion for supporting young people
