Sheffield

Full-time / Part-time | Permanent or Long-Term

MPS / UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive school in Sheffield, working with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional who is committed to inclusive education and making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver personalised, engaging lessons tailored to pupils with SEND

Work with pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties

Create a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment

Develop, review and implement EHCPs and individual support plans

Use effective behaviour and emotional regulation strategies

Monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs

Collaborate closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, parents and external agencies

Maintain high standards of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Holds QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)

Has experience teaching pupils with SEND (mainstream or specialist setting)

Demonstrates strong behaviour management and differentiation skills

Is patient, resilient and childin their approach

Has a good understanding of SEND frameworks, EHCPs and safeguarding

Works well both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary xjnqpsq team
