About Role:

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and making a real difference in their school experience and better development. Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Camden, London is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students

Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

Lots of enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to providing the best education for those children.

Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain excellent practice

Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers through regular communication and updates

What We’re Looking For

Understanding of positive behaviour support strategies

Relevant training (e.g. Makaton, PECS) is plus point

Supporting pupils with a range of SEN in the classroom and one-to-one

A sound grasp of how to support children outside of a mainstream curriculum.

Monitoring behaviour calmly and positively, using established strategies to support self-regulation and focus.
