Pay: £85 - £105 per day

Contract: Full-time

A welcoming and inclusive primary setting in Basingstoke is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN TA to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated SEN TA who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive both academically and personally.

The Role

As an SEN TA, you will work closely with class teachers and the wider support team to provide tailored assistance to pupils with Special Educational Needs. You will help create a structured, positive, and engaging learning environment where children feel confident and supported.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs

Support the class teacher with adapted and differentiated learning activities

Help implement strategies outlined in EHCPs and support plans

Encourage pupil independence, confidence, and participation

Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families

Support academic, emotional, and social development across the classroom

About You

The successful SEN TA will:

Be patient, empathetic, and supportive

Have strong communication and teamwork skills

Be enthusiastic about helping children succeed

Be willing to learn and develop professionally

Previous SEN experience is beneficial but not essential
