Contract: Long–term supply (with potential to go permanent)

Pay: 169– 328 per day (in line with Teacher Pay Scales, dependent on experience)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:20am–4:30pm

Timeplan Education is seeking a skilled, dedicated SEN Teacher to deliver PSHE and Humanities within a specialist trauma–informed school setting. This long–term supply role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing, inclusive environment and may lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

The school provides high–quality education and pastoral care for primary and secondary pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and trauma–based needs. Having worked closely with the school for a number of years, we can confidently say that supply teachers feel welcomed, supported by the SLT, and able to build meaningful and positive relationships with learners.

About the Role

Teaching PSHE and Humanities across the secondary setting.Planning and delivering engaging, accessible lessons for pupils with diverse learning needs.Supporting the academic, emotional, and social development of pupils with complex SEN.Full–time position: 8:20am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday.Long–term placement with realistic potential for a permanent contract.Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Strong, proven experience working with SEN pupils, particularly in specialist or therapeutic settings.Experience teaching GCSE and Functional Skills–this is essential.Confident teaching PSHE and Humanities to a range of age groups and abilities.Ability to deliver trauma–informed, adaptive, and nurturing teaching approaches.What We Offer
