Primary & Secondary SEN School Full–Time Long–Term

Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role as soon as possible where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working with a well–resourced and highly supportive SEN school in Epping that caters for both primary and secondary–aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision as soon as possible.

The Role

Providing 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classesSupporting communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learningFollowing EHCP targets and individual support plansAssisting with personal care where requiredWorking closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionalsHelping maintain a calm, structured and positive learning environmentEncouraging independence, confidence and social developmentThe Ideal Candidate

Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needsCalm, patient and resilient approachComfortable working across both primary and secondary age groupsConfident supporting non–verbal or limited communication pupilsWilling to support personal care where neededStrong team player with a proactive attitudeEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Both experienced SEN Teaching Assistants and strong mainstream TAs looking to move into a specialist setting are encouraged to apply.
