Secondary Teaching Assistant / Crewe / ASAP Start / Fixed–Term Contract

Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning and behaviour?

Academics are working with a supportive secondary school in Crewe, Cheshire East, who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support their Reflection Room. This is a full–time role starting ASAP until Christmas initially.

About the Role:

Supporting KS3 and KS4 students with behavioural, emotional and pastoral needsProviding a calm and structured environment for students to reflect and resetBuilding positive relationships while maintaining clear boundaries and expectationsSupporting students to regulate their emotions and make positive choicesUsing effective behaviour management and de–escalation strategiesApplicant Requirements:

Experience working with young people, ideally in a school, SEN, pastoral or behavioural settingCalm, patient, resilient and confident managing challenging behaviourStrong communication and relationship–building skillsA genuine passion for supporting young peopleEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)Why Register with Academics?
