Salary: £150 - £270 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a nurturing, small Secondary School based in Trafford, which has been awarded a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating. The school provides a supportive environment for pupils and staff, with a strong focus on helping students develop academically and reach their full potential.

The school is looking to take on a Science Teacher from October on a long-term basis, teaching students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Science Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning within the classroom.

The successful Science Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Science specialism (ECTs are also welcome to apply)

• Experience teaching Science across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4

• Sound knowledge of the Science curriculum

• Excellent classroom management

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A positive and nurturing approach to teaching and learning
