School Support Staff – Penzance

Full–time and part–time roles available Immediate and September 2025 starts

We're working with a range of schools across Penzance and the surrounding area, who are looking for passionate and reliable staff to join their teams. Whether you're looking to work as a Teaching Assistant, Pastoral Mentor, SEN Support Worker, or in another support role, we have opportunities to match your skills and experience.

About the Roles

Classroom support – working alongside teachers to help pupils engage in learning

One–to–one or small group support for children with additional needs

Pastoral roles – supporting behaviour, attendance, and wellbeing

Opportunities in both primary and secondary schools, as well as specialist settings

What We're Looking For

Experience working with children or young people (education, childcare, youth work or similar)

A calm, proactive, and supportive approach

A good communicator with the ability to build strong relationships

An understanding of safeguarding and inclusion

Flexibility and a willingness to get involved in the wider school community
