I am working with a well–established Trust to recruit a Finance Officer to support their busy finance team. This is a full–time temporary opportunity with an immediate start, perfect for an experienced finance or administration professional looking for their next role within education.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Process purchase invoices, orders, and supplier paymentsSupport sales ledger and credit control activitiesCarry out bank reconciliations and financial transactionsAssist with payroll administration and expense claimsMaintain accurate financial records and finance systemsRespond to finance–related queries from schools and suppliersSupport month–end processes and ensure compliance with financial procedures

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Previous finance, accounts, or finance administration experienceGood knowledge of Excel and financial systemsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsThe ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlinesSchool or education sector experience is desirable but not essentialEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
