Spencer from Simply Education is currently recruiting for a School Caretaker to join a welcoming secondary school in Banbury on an initial 10–week temporary booking, starting as soon as possible.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work within a school environment, with full training provided. You will join an established premises team and work alongside three other members of staff, supporting the smooth day–to–day running and upkeep of the school site.

The Role

Supporting the day–to–day maintenance and upkeep of the school siteCarrying out general caretaking and minor maintenance dutiesEnsuring classrooms, communal areas and outdoor spaces are safe and well maintainedSetting up and moving furniture and equipment when requiredCarrying out basic repairs and reporting larger maintenance issuesSupporting the wider premises team with general site dutiesHelping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staffFollowing school health and safety procedures

About You

Previous experience in a caretaker, maintenance, facilities, site assistant or similar role is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
