Description

Are you a thoughtful and engaging RE Teacher with a talent for fostering spiritual and ethical understanding, promoting respectful dialogue about diverse beliefs? A prestigious Independent school in Brent is seeking a fantastic temporary, part–time RE Teacher to join their Humanities department for an immediate start. This is a brilliant opportunity to guide students through diverse religious and philosophical perspectives.

What you'll be doing:

You'll be crafting and delivering engaging RE lessons that explore various faiths, ethical dilemmas, and philosophical concepts. It's about creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom where every student feels empowered to ask profound questions and respect diverse beliefs. You'll contribute to the wider life of the RE department, perhaps assisting with interfaith events or community projects. What we're looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Religious Education. Experience teaching engaging and effective RE lessons at Key Stages 3, 4, and ideally 5. A deep and current understanding of religious and ethical studies, plus the ability to facilitate meaningful discussions. Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and a knack for encouraging open–minded inquiry. Why join this school? This Independent school offers a competitive pro–rata salary and robust professional development opportunities. Become part of a supportive and intellectually curious Humanities department within a school with a strong academic tradition. Join a school that actively supports staff development and encourages innovative teaching practices within a vibrant and supportive environment in Brent
