Are you an experienced Psychology Teacher looking for your next long–term opportunity in Birmingham?

Winner Education are working with a secondary school in Great Barr who are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join them from September on a full–time basis for the full academic year. You will be responsible for delivering high–quality Psychology lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, helping students prepare for GCSE and A–Level examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and well–structured Psychology lessons

Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of student needs and learning styles

Create a supportive, inclusive, and focused learning environment

Support student progress and exam readiness for GCSE and A–Level Psychology

Monitor and assess pupil performance, providing regular feedback and reports

Work closely with the Head of Department to ensure curriculum standards are met

Lead or support revision and intervention sessions when needed

Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and progress

Attend parent evenings and contribute to school life beyond the classroom

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have recent experience teaching Psychology in a UK secondary school

Be confident teaching GCSE and A–Level Psychology

Hold QTS or a degree in Psychology with relevant teaching experience

Have a good understanding of supporting students with additional needs (SEN)

Show strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Be flexible, professional, and a collaborative team member
