A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Psychology Teacher to join an 'Outstanding' mixed school in Barnet for a part–time, temporary role starting ASAP. We are looking for a teacher who can bring the subject to life and guide students to a deep understanding of psychological concepts.

What you'll be doing:

You'll be planning and delivering engaging Psychology lessons, covering various approaches, theories, and research methods. It's about fostering analytical skills, encouraging ethical consideration, and promoting a nuanced understanding of psychological phenomena. You'll create a challenging yet supportive classroom where students are encouraged to question, debate, and apply psychological principles to real–world issues. What we're looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a solid specialism in Psychology. Demonstrable experience teaching effective Psychology lessons at Key Stage 5 is a big plus. A strong grasp of psychological theory and research, coupled with an ability to make the subject highly relevant and engaging. Excellent communication skills, effective classroom management, and a genuine drive to inspire future psychologists and critical thinkers. Why join this school?
