Primary Teaching Assistant

Location: Dudley

Pay: 93 to 110.24 depending on age and experience

Full time position (Monday – Friday)

Monarch Education is looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support one of our primary schools in Dudley.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant position in Dudley, you must have:

Experience working with children or young people in an educational, childcare, coaching, youth work or support settingA genuine passion for supporting pupils' learning and developmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to work effectively as part of a school teamAn enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain oneThe right to work in the UKExperience working within a UK School or Youth Setting.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in helping pupils achieve their potential both academically and socially. You'll work closely with teachers, SEN professionals and school leadership teams to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

Depending on the school and assignment, your responsibilities may include:

Supporting pupils in the classroom on a one–to–one or small–group basisAssisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom managementSupporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learningHelping to prepare learning resources and classroom activitiesMonitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staffPromoting safeguarding and pupil wellbeing at all times
