Primary Teacher

(KS1 & KS2) Cambridge, Cambridgeshire Full Time / Part Time / Temporary 130– 210 per Day Weekly PAYE

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a supportive school in Cambridge. The role will involve teaching across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, working with pupils of varying abilities and delivering lessons that are engaging and accessible to all.

This opportunity is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are keen to develop within a positive and well–supported environment. The school has a strong team ethos and is committed to providing a nurturing setting for both staff and pupils. You will be responsible for delivering a broad and adapted curriculum, ensuring every child is supported and challenged appropriately.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS or a recognised equivalent qualificationBe confident teaching across the primary age range (KS1 & KS2)Have a solid understanding of the national curriculum, particularly in English and MathsBe well organised with strong interpersonal skillsBe committed to motivating and supporting pupils with a range of needsDemonstrate effective classroom and behaviour managementHave a clear understanding of the Teachers' Standards

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjectsDifferentiate learning to meet the needs of individuals and groupsSupport pupils with additional needs within the classroom settingEncourage positive behaviour in line with school policiesEnsure safeguarding procedures are followed at all timesWork collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider staffBuild strong working relationships with pupils, colleagues, and familiesMonitor, assess, and track pupil progressProvide regular feedback to support developmentTake responsibility for the pastoral care of a group of pupilsContribute to the wider life of the school, including subject leadership where required
