Are you an experienced and enthusiastic primary teacher looking for a part-time opportunity?

A welcoming primary school in Southwark is seeking a passionate Class Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from September 2026. This opportunity offers the chance to work within a supportive job-share partnership, with a highly experienced teacher.

This is an ideal role for an experienced teacher who thrives on creativity, values teamwork, and is looking to be part of a school where both staff and pupils are encouraged to flourish.

The Role

Deliver engaging, inspiring, and creative lessons

Work closely with your teaching partner to provide consistency and continuity for pupils.

Share planning responsibilities, allowing for a collaborative and balanced workload.

Monitor pupil progress and provide meaningful feedback to colleagues and senior leaders.

Contribute positively to the wider school community and team culture.

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

Holds relevant teaching qualifications and has proven primary teaching experience.

Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Has experience across a range of primary year groups and enjoys being adaptable.

Is an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills.

Brings energy, creativity, and innovative ideas to their teaching practice.

Enjoys working collaboratively and values the benefits of a successful job-share partnership.
