SEN Teaching Assistant - Wythenshawe
Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester
Salary: £95-£110 per day
Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
Are you passionate about making a difference for children with additional needs? A primary school in Wythenshawe is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils in achieving their potential, helping them develop both academically and socially.
Your Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support for children with Special Educational Needs. You'll help to create an environment where every pupil feels understood, valued, and able to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN
Implementing individual learning plans and targeted interventions
Supporting communication, social, and behavioural development
Assisting with classroom activities and ensuring pupils are fully engaged
Helping to monitor and report on pupil progress, feeding back to teachers
