Full time and flexible opportunities available

Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? We are working in partnership with a specialist SEN provision that supports pupils across primary and secondary ages, and we are seeking a committed and adaptable Teacher (QTS essential) to join their team.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in a setting where relationships, wellbeing, and personalised learning are at the heart of everything.

About the School

This specialist setting caters for pupils with a range of complex additional needs and provides a structured, nurturing, and trauma–informed environment. The school focuses on creating a safe and consistent space where pupils can rebuild confidence, develop emotional regulation, and re–engage with education.

With small class sizes and a high level of support staff, teaching is highly personalised and adapted to meet each pupil's individual needs. The ethos centres around patience, understanding, and celebrating progress in all forms.

About the Pupils

Students within this provision may present with:

Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

ADHD and associated behavioural challenges

Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)

As a SEN Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to a wide range of abilities

Create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

Work closely with Teaching Assistants and wider multidisciplinary teams

Opportunities Available

Full–time, long–term teaching role with potential for permanent placement

Flexible opportunities may be available for teachers seeking a better work–life balance

Supportive leadership and ongoing CPD opportunities

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Has experience working with SEN, particularly SEMH and/or ASC

Demonstrates a calm, resilient, and adaptable teaching style

Has a strong understanding of behaviour management and trauma–informed practice

Is passionate about inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners
