What You’ll Be Doing:

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to your allocated year group (KS1 or KS2)

*

Using assessment effectively to inform planning and close learning gaps

*

Delivering structured phonics sessions where required and embedding early reading strategies

*

Preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage expectations, including Phonics Screening or SATs

*

Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

*

Working collaboratively with support staff and year group colleagues

*

Completing all marking, assessment, and reporting responsibilities

*

Engaging with parents and carers to support pupil progress

What the School Is Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Experience teaching in either KS1 or KS2

*

Strong knowledge of phonics delivery and early reading development

*

Confident understanding of curriculum expectations across the primary phase

*

Experience supporting pupils through statutory assessments

*

Strong behaviour management and organisational skills

*

A reflective practitioner with a proactive and positive attitude

*

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
