Job Tittle: Premises Assistant / Handyman

Location: Wandsworth, South West London

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm

Pay: £16 - £18 per hour

Starting ASAP

Remedy Education are looking for a candidate to join a Primary school based in Wandsworth. You will be responsible for liaising daily with the Headteacher on premises issues, supervising the cleaners or the cleansing service of the school. Ensure the security of the school premises. And most importantly help maintain the internal and external fabric of the school's premises as a safe working environment.

Job Responsibilities

General maintenance throughout the school

Reporting all defects which require specialist repair

Regular Water temp checks

Undertake minor repairs / DIY along with fixtures and fittings and painting (including desks tables chairs etc)

Reading, recording and reporting all meter readings as required by the Head Teacher and or Energy Conservation Officer.

General site supervision, including prevention of trespass, ensuring that unauthorised parking does not occur. xjnqpsq

Opening and closing of school gatesTo Note

You will be put through a DBS check (if you do not already obtain a DBS)

Full UK driving license
