PPA Teacher – Primary (Reception to Year 6)

Near Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Full–Time Preferred QTS Essential Fixed–Term (1 Year) MPS

Start Date: September 2025 (with some flexibility)

A small, welcoming primary school located just outside Wellingborough is looking to appoint a committed and versatile PPA Teacher for the (Apply online only) academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a varied teaching role, covering all year groups from Reception through to Year 6 on a 1–year fixed–term contract.

Working closely with class teachers, you'll be delivering lessons during their allocated PPA time. Subjects will vary depending on the day and class timetable, so adaptability is key. Planning will be required for all teaching sessions, but you'll be supported by whole–school schemes of work already in place across all subjects.

The Role:

Teach across all primary year groups, providing PPA cover

Deliver engaging, well–structured lessons aligned with school schemes

Plan for each session based on the subject and year group you're covering

Work collaboratively with staff and contribute to a positive school culture

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

Experience teaching across multiple year groups in a primary setting

Strong classroom management and confident delivery across subjects

Highly organised, flexible, and proactive in your approach

Someone who enjoys variety and working as part of a supportive team
