Location: Portsmouth

Hours: Full-time (term-time)

Start: ASAP / September

Pay: £168 – £232 per day

Are you an energetic and enthusiastic PE Teacher looking for your next opportunity?

Do you have the passion to inspire students to lead active and healthy lifestyles?

We are seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to work within secondary schools across the Portsmouth and Southampton areas. This is a long-term opportunity with an ASAP or September start, teaching Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4.

You will play a key role in promoting participation, teamwork and confidence, while encouraging students to enjoy sport and physical activity.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Encouraging participation in a variety of sports and activities

• Promoting teamwork, resilience and healthy lifestyles

• Monitoring student progress and supporting development

• Organising and supporting extracurricular sports activities

• Creating a safe and engaging learning environment

• Contributing to departmental and whole-school initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education

• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting

• Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Enthusiastic, proactive and team-oriented approach

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
