The Role - Pastoral Support Tutor

A welcoming mainstream secondary school in the London Borough of Ealing is seeking to appoint a dedicated Pastoral Support Tutor to join its pastoral team from September on a long-term basis.

As the successful Pastoral Support Tutor, you will work closely with students across KS3 and KS4, providing emotional, behavioural and academic support to help them engage positively with school life. You will build positive relationships with students, monitor attendance and punctuality, deliver targeted interventions, support behaviour management strategies and work alongside Heads of Year, safeguarding staff, SENCOs and external agencies where required. You will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, improving attendance and ensuring students feel safe, supported and motivated to succeed.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children or young people within a school, youth work, mentoring or pastoral setting. You will be resilient, approachable, organised and committed to supporting students from a wide range of backgrounds to reach their full potential.
