Job Title: Teaching Assistant – Full Time | SEN | Croydon

Location: Croydon

Salary: £90–£100 per day (PAYE)

Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Start Date: September 2025

We’re working with a specialist setting in Croydon that supports children and young people with autism and complex needs. The school is welcoming, well-resourced, and offers structured support across all age groups—from primary pupils right through to Post-16.

Whether you’re a psychology graduate, an experienced TA, or someone with a care background, this is a brilliant opportunity to make a real difference in a classroom that values patience, consistency, and connection.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups across Primary, Secondary, or Post-16

Helping children with communication, social development, and learning routines

Assisting with personal care (where needed) and promoting independence

Encouraging engagement through visuals, sensory tools, and structured activities

What We're Looking For:

A calm, caring presence and a great sense of humour

Any experience with autism, SEND, or behaviour support (personal or professional)

Full-time availability, Monday to Friday, term time

Willingness to get involved and be a reliable part of the classroom team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
