TeacherActive is proud to be working with a friendly private day nursery in the Alfreton area. The setting provides a warm, welcoming environment where children can explore, play, build confidence and enjoy exciting learning experiences.

The nursery is looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant on a long-term, part-time basis for three days per week during term time, working from 8.15am to 3.45pm. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children’s learning and development, help to create engaging activities and ensure every child feels safe, happy and included.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• A Level 3 qualification or higher in Early Years or Childcare

• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting

• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS

• Paediatric First Aid training is desirable

• A fun, caring and enthusiastic approach

• The ability to work well as part of a busy nursery team
