About the Role:
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in the Liverpool area. As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, we are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic educator. A successful applicant will have a teaching qualification with QTS.
Secondary Mathematics Teacher
Location: Liverpool
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term
Working Hours: Full time, 8:00am – 4.00pm
Salary: Paid to scale
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to secondary school students.Develop and implement creative lesson plans that cater to varying student needs.Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student achievement.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school.Up–to–date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).Right to Work in the UK.Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.Ability to provide two professional references.Why Join Prospero Teaching?
