Location: Tameside

Hours: Full time contract. Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3pm. Could become permanent for the right Maths Teacher.

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: 160 – 220 per day (Depending on Experience)

Are you a passionate and fully qualified Maths Teacher seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Our supportive secondary school in Tameside are looking for a dedicated Maths Teacher to teach pupils from KS3 to KS4. This role is full–time Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3pm. The school are looking for someone who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the Uk. You must hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to secondary school students, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.Planning and Preparation: Develop well–structured and creative lesson plans, tailored to the needs of the students and aligned with the curriculum.Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, effectively managing student behavior and fostering a love for Maths.Assessment: Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the Maths department and school community.
