Salary: £14.80 - £15.00 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a well-established Welsh-medium day nursery in Llanarthney in their search for a Level 3 Welsh Speaking Nursery Practitioner. Set within a peaceful rural environment, the nursery provides high-quality care for children aged 6 weeks to 7 years and promotes learning through nature in a calm, caring and friendly setting where all activities are delivered through the medium of Welsh.

The nursery is looking to appoint a Level 3 Welsh Speaking Nursery Practitioner on a long-term basis from September, with the potential to secure a permanent contract. The successful Level 3 Welsh Speaking Nursery Practitioner will support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework, deliver engaging activities through the medium of Welsh, and work closely with colleagues to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for every child.

The successful Level 3 Welsh Speaking Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare

• Fluency in spoken and written Welsh

• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

• Experience working within an early years setting

• A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach to supporting children's development

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
