Are you a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant looking for your next primary school opportunity?

Aspire People are currently recruiting experienced Level 3 TAs to support primary schools from September 2026.

We're looking for practitioners who can do more than provide general classroom support – candidates who are confident delivering interventions, supporting individual pupils and working closely with teachers to help children make progress.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Providing 1:1 and small–group classroom support

Delivering targeted Reading, Phonics, English and Maths interventions

Supporting pupils with SEND where required

Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom resources

Supporting differentiated learning activities

Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to teaching staff

Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines

Helping pupils develop independence and confidence

Working closely with teachers and other support staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

Recent experience working within a UK primary school

Strong understanding of the primary curriculum

Experience delivering interventions

Good knowledge of phonics, Reading, English and Maths

Confidence supporting pupils with different abilities and needs

Strong communication and relationship–building skills

Patient, proactive and reliable approach

Experience supporting pupils with SEND or SEMH would also be advantageous.
