Location: Newmarket, Suffolk

Hourly Rate: £13.68 - £14.990

Contract: Monday - Friday (Full-time, Shift-based between 08:00 - 18:00)

Start Date: ASAP

We're seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Qualified Childcare Practitioner to join a friendly and nurturing early years setting in Newmarket. Our warm, child-centred environment is committed to providing exceptional care and education, supporting every child to learn, grow, and flourish.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver outstanding care and education in line with the EYFS framework

Plan, prepare, and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities

Observe, assess, and record children's progress and development

Support and guide Level 2 practitioners and apprentices when needed

Foster strong partnerships with parents and carers, keeping them informed and involved

Ensure the nursery environment remains safe, inclusive, and stimulating at all times

Ideal Candidate:

Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (or equivalent)

Previous experience working within an early years setting

Confident in planning and delivering activities to meet children's individual needs

Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development

Positive, nurturing, and proactive attitude with excellent communication skills

Team player with a genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and wellbeing
