Level 3 Nursery Practitioner (EYFS)

We’re working with a truly lovely nursery in Chelmsford that feels more like a close-knit community than a workplace. It’s a setting where children are encouraged to explore, climb, discover and – most importantly – get wonderfully messy!

With a fantastic outdoor space, an inspiring Forest School programme, and a warm, supportive team, this is a nursery where both children and staff genuinely thrive.

They’re now looking for a caring, enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Practitioner (Paediatric First Aid trained) to join their team on a full-time or part-time basis, with flexible working hours available to suit your lifestyle.

What your day could look like:

Supporting children through play-based learning and exploration

Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment

Helping children develop confidence, independence, and curiosity

Making full use of the nursery’s outdoor spaces and Forest School activities

Working collaboratively in a friendly, supportive team

What we’re looking for:

Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)

Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)

A warm, positive attitude and genuine passion for childcare

Solid understanding of the EYFS framework

A team player who’s happy to get stuck in – rain or shine!

Paediatric First Aid support

If your First Aid training isn’t up to date, don’t worry – we can support you with access to an upcoming Paediatric First Aid course.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
