Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant - Primary

Location: Truro, Cornwall

Role Type: Flexible supply with temp-to-perm potential

Pay: £89.38-£95 per day

Are you someone who enjoys working with children and making a real difference each day? Teaching personnel are currently looking for flexible, EYFS teaching assistants to work across primary schools in Truro and the surrounding areas on a supply basis with possibility for long term.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in different Early Years environments, support young learners during their crucial developmental stages, and be part of a supportive supply network.

Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom duties

Working one to one or in small groups with pupils

Helping children access learning and feel confident in class

Supporting with classroom organisation, resource preparation, and tidying

What We’re Looking For

A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Early Years / Childcare

Experience working with children aged 3–5 in a school or nursery setting

Strong understanding of the EYFS framework

Adaptability and a willingness to learn

A nurturing, proactive, and adaptable approach to classroom support

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
