Experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools

Are you an experienced Level 2 TA looking for your next school opportunity?

Aspire People are currently recruiting experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Manchester.

We're looking for practitioners who already understand the day–to–day demands of working in a school and can confidently support pupils within the classroom.

If you've recently become available, are looking for a change of school, or are simply exploring what's available now the academic year has started, we'd be happy to speak with you.

The Role May Include:

Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups

Assisting with Reading, Writing and Maths

Supporting differentiated classroom activities

Assisting with basic interventions

Supporting pupils with SEND

Helping maintain positive classroom routines

Supporting behaviour and pupil engagement

Supervising pupils during breaktimes and transitions

Encouraging confidence and independence

Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team

We're Looking For:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

Recent experience within a UK primary school

Good understanding of the primary curriculum

Experience supporting classroom learning

Confident working with primary–aged children

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Patient, adaptable and nurturing approach

Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion

Candidates with experience supporting SEND, SEMH or pupils with additional learning needs would be particularly attractive to many of our schools.
