Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Classroom & Intervention Support

Aspire People are seeking an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning within a busy and welcoming primary school environment.

This role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys working closely with pupils, delivering small group interventions and helping children build confidence in their learning.

The Role

Working alongside the class teacher and wider support staff, you will play an important role in helping pupils achieve their learning goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Supporting classroom learning across the primary age range

* Delivering small group interventions in reading, writing and maths

* Supporting pupils who require additional academic support

* Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

* Encouraging pupil participation and engagement in lessons

* Promoting positive behaviour and supporting school routines

* Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to the class teacher

Requirements

* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

* Experience supporting pupils in a school environment

* Strong literacy and numeracy skills

* A calm, patient and supportive approach

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
