Location: Bristol

Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

Pay: 90 – 100 per day PAYE

Contract Type: Full–time, Short–term

Hours: Monday to Friday, School Hours

About the Role

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children in their education and development within a positive and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping to ensure they can access learning and achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

Providing classroom support to pupils on a one–to–one and small group basisAssisting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and learning activitiesSupporting pupils with additional learning needs where requiredEncouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learningPromoting pupils' social, emotional, and academic developmentBuilding positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parentsEnsuring safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all timesRequirements

Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or related setting is desirableA patient, caring, and enthusiastic approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsAn enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to applyRight to work in the UK
