JOB TITLE - Learning Support Assistant

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant for a Primary school in DA6, Bexley.

The position is open to experienced teaching assistants. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location - Bexley, DA6.

Position - Learning Support Assistant

Type of work - Learning Support Assistant - supporting class teacher, preparation, maintaining classroom etc

Contract or position start date - October 2026

Duration / Likely Duration - end of the academic year July 2027

Contract or position end date (if applicable) - July 2027

Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary Contract

Full time/part time - full time

Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £95 per day

Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1 year Learning Support Assistant experience in the UK

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
