Job Type: Daily Supply, Long Term (5 days a week)

Pay Rate: 95 – 110 per day

Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff Ltd is hiring an active Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a secondary school in Peterborough. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will assist teachers in supporting students with learning difficulties or disabilities. This Learning Support Assistant position offers flexible daily work or long–term career progression with stable pay rates.

Key Tasks:

Deliver targeted academic and routine guidance to students, 1 on 1 or in small groups as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA).

Assist the teacher by adapting learning materials to student targets.

Guide student behaviour with patience, clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement.

Track, monitor, and report student progress to teachers and specialists.

Requirements:

Proven experience or relevant training as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or Teaching Assistant.

Deep knowledge of secondary curriculum subjects and classroom management.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.

Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
