Learning Support Assistant - East London - Newham
Secondary Schools across Newha, East London are working with Prospero Teaching to bring in new cohorts of Learning Support Assistants for September 2026. Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils Year 7-11
Assist the class teacher in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum.
Support children with additional needs, including those with EHCPs.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals.
What You'll Need to Succeed
A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
